[Opinions] Nicole
I know this name probably won't be very popular (it's too common, dated, plain, blah blah blah), so I'll just ask this one question: Does anyone else like it but me?

I like it as a middle name better

I've always liked it - and still do. I had a French penfriend called Nicole.
I also like Nicola.

It's my own name...
I have accepted it and I can't picture myself with another name. Not because I love the name, but because Nicole IS me!
I think it's an alright name..

I don't mind it. I prefer it as a middle name a bit more than a first name. I wouldn't rule out using it.

Nicole was my generation's filler middle name and go-to girls name. I know so many women named Nicole/Nichole/Nikki/Nicky/Nic that I don't even hear the name anymore, like Michael or John. The name is okay; I don't love it or hate it, and I don't find it dated either, I just prefer other forms more: Colette, Nicola, Coline, Nicolette, and Nicolina.

I actively like Nicola. Generally speaking, I don't enjoy spondees - which Nicole almost is - and I do find it rhythmically unappealing.

Nicole is okay and inoffensive and kinda pretty, but I've got so many Nicole associations from childhood and there's so many other nice names out there that I just can't support its use.

it seems kinda boring to me...

I don't dislike it, but it's popular enough among my generation that it doesn't have a very distinctive feel to it. Also I absolutely abhor the potential nickname "Nikki". My boyfriend's sister is Nicole "Coley" (since their dad is Nicholas "Nick" / "Nicky"), though, which I think is kind of sweet.

I don't. It seems so cold to me.

I do!It's the name of one of my close friends, though, so that might be why. :D It also was one of the names my parents were considering for me. It's my cousin's middle name, too.I've considered using it as maybe a second middle name before, if/when my boyfriend and I are married with kids, since my friend Nicole is responsible for helping us get together, lol.

If it weren't ubiquitous, I think I would like it -- the sound is lovely.
