Help[Opinions] Cecil & Red
There was an announcement in the London Telegraph for the birth of twins - a son, Cecil, and a daughter, Red.
What do you think of this pairing, and the names separately? I was rather surprised by it. I like Cecil quite a lot. I can imagine that it would appeal to a lot of hipster-cool people that I know.
I'm really warming to Red. I don't know that I could ever use it but its just so awesome. I imagine a little Red to be adventurous, fun and outgoing. What do you think in general of colour names used on people?

.. Red is the girls name? Really? All I can think of when I hear that name is Red Forman (from That '70's Show, which is my fav!). It's quite masculine to me.
Cecil is so cool, Red is too. But I would never even dream of naming my children either of them, they're not my style, but they're super cool!

I'm from Australia and pronounce it the British way - 'SESS-il.' I only like this pronunciation as well. :)

I'm not sure how I feel about colour names for people. I used to know an Azure and thought that was the coolest thing ever. I was very into colour names as a teenybopper, but I've moved on to other things. Some I think are awesome, but some I think are silly. It depends on the name.
But Cecil and Red = super cute. Super hipster. Also sounds like a storybook, which is a clear winner for me :)
