[Opinions] Scout
Do you like Scout on a girl? Ever met one? Could it rise in popularity? Reminds me a bit of the popular Taylor and the rising Sloane.

I hate it. Very ugly and unfeminine. Though I do love "To Kill a Mockingbird." The quirkiness of the name fit the character and the overall tone of the novel very well, but in real life, no. Quite horrible.

It's too closely attached to, Demi Moore!

I like Scout for a boy or girl. but probably just as a nickname!

Scout could be a sweet nickname (although a bit too Harper Lee, imo), but it is definately unsuitable as a full name.

I can see it rising in popularity, but I don't like it as a real name. It's best as a nickname or for a pet.

Isn't one of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's kids named Scout too? I prefer it as a nn too.

I like it as a GP. I can see it rising - it reminds me of giving names like Parker and Miller to girls. Best kept as a nn IMO.

I like Scout. It's sweet and adorable, but I think I prefer it as a nickname. I've never actually met a Scout. The only one I've heard of is Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird.

DittoI loved To Kill a Mockingbird and I loved Scout. But just as Scout wasn't her real name (Jean Louise), I'm not too big on it being used as a full name for someone else either. It really has to fit the girl too, I don't think everyone could nicely sport a name like Scout.
