[Opinions] Editha
I just recently came across this. It was used in the late 1700s, early 1800s. WDYT? I rather like it.

Depends on the pronunciation. Edith with an -a is not encouraging, but the German version of e DEE ta is good.
A needless elaboration of Edith. It adds nothing TO Edith.
Kinda of the reason I like it.
I wouldn't use it, but I like the idea behind of it. I'm not sure if I can explain it - it's the type of name someone would have used during that time period to make their daughter appear more "elegant."

And to explain that
because that probably makes no sense...
I like that because that's what my family did - they did everything to make themselves sound "classier," so it reminds me of a name that a relative might have had. It's in my "if I ever write fiction" name bank.

It's definitely interesting. I like it too.
I've heard it used in Eastern Europe. It's ok, but I prefer Edith overall.
