For Alexandra, Alex.
For Margaret, Maggie. I think Daisy is adorable but would only use it as a pet name rather than a nickname.
For Katherine/Catherine, Kate.
For Christian, I've never heard Ian. The only one besides Chris that I've heard is "Crish" which is what a friend of mine's family sometimes calls her brother whose name is Christian. I guess you could use X as a nn for Christian, from the X-as-shorthand-for-Christ route.
