Neptunette! It's rockin'! It's so pink-haired electronica-band fantastic! I think a whole new science fiction genre needs to be built around Neptunette. there's Steampunk... how about electric...opera? Get thee to thine writing station, Mermaid, and whip us up a bleachy futuristic tale!

Lol yeah, I agree about it belonging to a science fiction opera. I rather pictured a glam rock band, something like "Neptune and his Neptunettes". It's a groupie's name, groupies with fish tails and and purple latex bras.
