I met a woman with this name this morning and I found it really charming. It seemed to suit her - and coincidentally, she had her hair braided in a crown shape on her head, which I thought was a bit of a funny coincidence with her name meaning.
She was so nice and the name suited her so well that I was quite tempted to add it to my PNL as a guilty pleasure. And then someone at work mentioned the beer, which had completely slipped my mind.
So what do you all think? Is the beer the first thing that comes to mind for you? Do you like the name? What's your impression of it? Any potential combos?

I love that beer...but I do think the name itself is quite spunky and I could see how it would suit someone.
I don't think the beer association should rule it out as a name. There are all sorts of acceptable names that also mean other thing. A least Corona isn't a cheap beer!

Nice name and good meaning but I can't get past the beer thing. I met a girl called Corona years ago - her brother had an ordinary enough name though.

I like it too, but the beer does leap to mind immediately. But hey - I knew another girl named after beer, and she knew it and didn't seem to care at all. Also coroner... but whatevs!
Corona is a lovely name; it's so round and open. I might pair it with similar-looking names because I enjoy that roundness so well:
