Help[Games] Britt's Variety Congrats Round 1
Sign-ups still welcome, especially in Classic and KUY congrats themes. Just go down to the sign-up round to see how it’s going to work.
Looks like 1909-modern won the vote! I’m excited about this as it lends a wide variety to the name possibilities throughout the generations. So the year is 1910, and your wife has just give birth! Follow the rules for the theme you chose to name the new additions!
1. If you miss more than three rounds period you will be dropped. You do not have to make up missed rounds, but you do not get the children for the missed round. This is especially important for this game to keep the timeline flowing.
2. Make sure you are following the rules for your theme. I'll keep players separated by theme when listing them in each new round.
3. Please bold new additions. This can be done by using < b > name here < /b > without the spaces.
4. Ages are required and must be kept up. I'll make sure you know how much time has passed. You may add birthdays if you like but it isn't necessary. This is especially important to keep the timeline flowing and for coordination in later rounds.
5. Please write a few sentences about your family with each new round, keeping us updated with how they are doing.

Your DH and DW are so thrilled to have their baby that they want to have that reflect in his/her name. The FN should mean something like “wished for” or “good news” or “beloved.” The MN is after the parent of the same sex.

Velma named her after her favorite character from Sense & Sensibility, while Leo got to choose her mn, Sapphira, after his favorite gemstone, the sapphire. Henry realized that he wanted to be more than just friends with Sadie and when she turned 17 he asked her to marry him. They are doing good in married life, and hoping to start their family soon.

Joshua and Kate couldn't wait to have children when they got married, and within a year their wish came true! Elizabeth came into the world a little after sunrise on a beautiful spring morning, and mother and baby as just as healthy as they could be. A few relatives tried to console the young couple about not having a boy, but Joshua summed their feelings about it up in one sentence, "Who would choose a boy over such a perfect little girl?" Kate's students, most very excited about her pregnancy, suggested she name the baby from one of her favorite books, which she thought was a very good idea. She chose the name Elizabeth after the character from Pride and Prejudice. Joshua suggested Ruby, his favorite gemstone name, as a middle name, as their daughter was a precious as a ruby to them. Elizabeth is now three months old and has her mother's dark curls and looks likely to keep the blue eyes she got from Kate as well. She is as happy and healthy and sweet a baby as any parents could wish for, and Joshua and Kate both adore her.
