[Opinions] Mirian
I was hanging out with my friends today and one of them was telling me about his girlfriend's sister. Her name is Mirian (meer-ee-ANN). I guess it's a blending between Miriam and Marian. I kinda like it.

I like both Miriam and Marianne (not Marian or Marion so much) that I just don't see the need for Mirian ... which also sounds odd, with the stress on the final syllable. You'd expect something like Carrie Ann or Sally Ann, but Miri doesn't fit the pattern, except as a nn for Miriam. Maybe that's how they invented it!

It's pretty, but it would probably be confused with Miriam.

It's quite nice, but I think people would always be accidentally calling her Marian or Miriam, and spellling her name wrong, so it would be a bit of a faf to have it as your name.
