P is one of my favourite letters to begin a name and I had Agrippa on my mind a lot lately so when I found Philippa, it was bound to be my new obsession. It might also have to do with a Philippe I know, who is one of the most seductive people I've ever met...

Oh, Philippa Fleur is great. I love it, thanks! Phlipi is fun, it's the kind of nickname I could see an older brother using, it has something affectionately derisive in my mind.

I love it. I know a Philippa who almost always goes by the full version, so I'm not sure it needs a nickname, but maybe Pilou or Pila or even Pia? Or there's always Flip.

Pia is pretty. This boy I know named Philippe goes by "Filou", which means rascal/scamp in French and it suits him wonderfully. That's one great nickname!

Pip is very cute but they certainly wouldn't work in France, and neither would Pippi, as "pipi" means pee. :/

I like Philippa but prefer Filippa. I wouldn't use Pippa as a nn as it is a slang for "having sex with" here in Sweden. But I know some Filippa's. They usually go by just Filippa, but sometimes Flippan, Fillan etc. Maybe Phili?

If I had a daughter right now, I could totally name her Philippa Rose. And well as long as you don't intend to procreate with him, I really don't see why his opinion should affect you!
