[Opinions] Philippa
P is one of my favourite letters to begin a name and I had Agrippa on my mind a lot lately so when I found Philippa, it was bound to be my new obsession. It might also have to do with a Philippe I know, who is one of the most seductive people I've ever met...
WDYT, any combo ideas? What nicknames can you think of? Pippa is cute but it can so easily bring sexual connotation to mind in my country...

Phil is good, and I've also seen Flip!
Philippa Jean
Philippa Helen
Philippa Margaret
It seems to need a name from the 1920s ... good name, though!

I love it, and I love these combos:
Philippa Eleanor
Philippa Fleur
Philippa Margot
Philippa Marguerite
Philippa Rosamond
I love the nn Pippa, and the only alternative I can think of is Phlipi.

Oh, Philippa Fleur is great. I love it, thanks! Phlipi is fun, it's the kind of nickname I could see an older brother using, it has something affectionately derisive in my mind.
I like it quite a bit.
One nickname could be "Lips." It's actually a German pet form of Philipp.

I love Philippa. It's such a fun and beautiful name.
My favorite combos with it are Philippa June and Philippa Rosemary.
My favorite nicknames for it are Pippa and Poppy.

Poppy's a good idea, it can definitely work! Thanks.
I love it. I know a Philippa who almost always goes by the full version, so I'm not sure it needs a nickname, but maybe Pilou or Pila or even Pia? Or there's always Flip.
Philippa Cecily
Philippa Maud
Philippa Marion
Philippa Lucy
Philippa Verity
Philippa Jehanne / Jane / Joan
Philippa Katrine

Pia is pretty. This boy I know named Philippe goes by "Filou", which means rascal/scamp in French and it suits him wonderfully. That's one great nickname!
You have good combos here, I really like
Philippa Maud
Philippa Lucy
Philippa Verity
Philippa Jehanne
Philippa Iris
Philippa Tamar - I never paid attention to Tamar before but I like it.
Philippa Iris must be my favourite. Thanks!

Philippa is stunning! I would love to meet a one! What about Pippi, Pip or Filly?
Philippa Winifred
Philippa Giselle
Philippa Lucy
Philippa Vivian
HTH!

Pip is very cute but they certainly wouldn't work in France, and neither would Pippi, as "pipi" means pee. :/
I love Philippa Giselle, I'm not usally fond of Giselle but there is something graceful about this combo, it makes me think of birds flying off. Thanks.

I like Philippa but prefer Filippa. I wouldn't use Pippa as a nn as it is a slang for "having sex with" here in Sweden. But I know some Filippa's. They usually go by just Filippa, but sometimes Flippan, Fillan etc. Maybe Phili?
Lol, in France it could be reminiscent of blow jobs I'm afraid. I like Phili.
Love it!
I always liked the combo Philippa Rose...
I got mad at one of my friends once because he apparently once knew someone by that name and she ruined it for him, so he told me that he felt sorry for my future children.

If I had a daughter right now, I could totally name her Philippa Rose. And well as long as you don't intend to procreate with him, I really don't see why his opinion should affect you!
tritto.
ditto!
I think it's quite great!
