I like it. I was almost a Nicholas Oliver, myself. But, alas, to my poor parents' surprise in the eighth month of pregnancy, I was shown to lack the proper equipment to be a Nicholas Oliver. lol_________________________________________________

I really like the name Oliver. It seems quite masculine to me, which I like. Finlay and Oliver would make a great sib set, although I prefer the spelling Finley to Finlay.

I adore Oliver, though I worry it wouldn't age well. I see it mostly working on a little boy. I also adore Finlay. Finlay Oliver or Oliver Finlay or brothers named Oliver & Finaly - all very nice!

I have been loving it for several months now. I love how it is classic, beautiful, and fairly unused. Were you thinking Finlay Oliver or Oliver Finlay? I think that Oliver Finlay is nice.

Oliver is an excellent name, very distinguished and masculine. Don't think it goes well with Finlay as a middle name, though. I much prefer George, Edward, James, etc._________________________________________________

I love the name Oliver, it is probably what I would call my first son. I'm a bit annoyed that it seems to be getting quite popular, but I wont be having children for a few years yet so I'm not too worried.
I'm not sure what you mean by "I think it goes well with Finlay." I don't think it would work as a middle name, but I think it would be alright as a sibset.

I love Oliver, it is one of my favorite names. I think it is a classic (Shakespeare, Dickens). It is among the top 20 in Sweden.Oliver Finlay flows fine. Or are you considering both as fn for brothers? Finlay and Oliver sound fine for brothers too."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

It's okay, but it makes me think of the movie Oliver & Company.
