[Opinions] Charlena and Charlotta
Do you like Charlena better than Charlene? I'm looking for something I can use Charlie for as a nickname but find Charlotte way too common and boring.I like Charlene, but many people seem to hate it, so I thought of Charlena. Would that be better?I dislike Carlotta but Charlotta might grow on me.Do you like Charlotta?

I was at school with a really nice Charlene, so it's got good vibes for me. I find it silly with an -a tacked on. And I don't like Charlotte or Charlotta one bit, so for me it's Charlene all the way. My friend was known as Charles ...

Our daughters name is Charlotte "Charlie"...we also thought about other names with the nickname "Charlie". Even considered just naming her Charlie (Or Charleigh), but decided against that.Anyway, we looked at Charlize, Charlise, and even Charlaine. I also know a woman named Charmaine (but I don't care for that name very well).I don't like Charlene that well. Charlotta is okay.

No, I don't like Charlena at all. I don't like Charlene either.I love Charlotta. I think it's a funkier take on Charlotte and has a retro feel. It reminds me of Anne of Green Gables - I think it was Anne of the Island, specifically, which had a character named Charlotta.I'm trying to think of other names that start with Charl-. What about Charlize?

Could you all suggest other names that can have Charlie as a nnexcept for Charlotte, Charlotta, Charlene, Charlena, Carlotta, Charlize and Charla, Charlia?@ starving artistthanks for the suggestion, but I don't like Charlize at all. For some reason I find it extremely trashy, even more so than Charlene.

Hm....this is difficult. Maybe Charisse, Chara, or Shachar? There's not really very many names that incorporate Charl- into it.

Caroline is a nice stretch but it could work

Firstly if you like Charlene then it's really not important what other people think. In my opinion i dislike both Charlene and Charlena, i guess i slighlty prefer Charlena because you can have the nickname Lena, but thats not what you're looking for so...I like Charlotta best, though i still personally prefer Charlotte

Charlena is definitely prettier, and sounds more modern, than Charlene. Charlotta is really beautiful. I like it even better than Charlena.
