[Opinions] Venerando
This is the name of a staff member at my college. He's Italian, about 50-60 years old and very kind. Pronunciation is ve-ne-RAHN-do, I think. To me the name is elegant and sophisticated and I think it suits him really well. So WDYT?
Questions to Murasaki or other Italian users who may read this: Can you tell me anything about the popularity of Venerando in Italy now and in the past? Do you know anything about its origin/meaning?

I would guess it has to do with "venerated."
It's a real neat name, I've never heard it.
