Much nicer than George, but I do enjoy German names. In some circles, giving a boy a name that shortens to Gay might be frowned on.

Prefer George! gay- org makes me think of gay orgy sorry.

I'm not a fan - it's not quite my style. I also don't like the sound of it. Thematically, Georg Franz works well together, and it has good flow.

It's my old dentist name and also my mother's fiancées MN, but I don't like it. I've just gotten used to George and like that, a name a hated before. I still find Georg ugly. And I know some people thinks of names as colors, but I usually don't. Georg/George however is very brown to me. :P

It's a pretty cool name. It makes me think of The Sound of Music! It suits The Captain quite perfectly. Georg Franz keeps with the feel of it. I like it!

I think Georg is wonderfully handsome. So much nicer than George imo, mostly because I like the hard Gs as opposed to the soft. Georg Franz is very nice a very strong combo. I also like Georg Helmut.
