Gabriel and Belle were excited to learn they were going to have another baby, and while the kingdom was hoping for the arrival of a Crown Prince, the royal family would not wish to change little Rosalie for anything. Arianne is quite excited to have a little sister and loves helping her parents and the nurses take care of her. They named her Rosalie for her rosy cheeks, Jaqueline after Belle's father;s middle name, Jacques, and Charlotte for Gabriel's late father Charles. Alba is from the name of a little servant girl they both grew very fond of while visiting the court in Florence. Arianne started calling her Rosie, and now nearly everyone in the family does.
For the past few years, Gabriel and Belle have been worried about after effects of the spell Gabriel was under for so long, but with four years and nothing untoward happening, they are finally beginning to really relax. In the meantime, Belle's brother Alban has returned, and is thoroughly enchanted with his nieces. He left again soon after Rosalie's birth, and the family are all missing him. Jeanette and her husband Duke Adoplphe have had two children, a daughter and a son, and Danielle and her husband Count Raymond have had a son. Etienne and Guillaume have also married, and Etienne and his wife Lady Fleur are expecting their first child. Emma has also recently married, a lord of the court named Fabien. Victorine and Blanche, Belle's other sisters, are still unmarried and still have not sought a reconciliation with their sister or attempted to see their nieces, though Maurice has gone to visit them both. Henri and Leon, Belle's other two brothers, are still unmarried as well, though Henri has recently become enaged to a landholder's daughter named Laure.
