[Opinions] identical quadruplets
I just watched a programme last night about a set of identical quadruplet girls, apparently only the second set alive in the world today. They were named:Ellie
Georgina
Jessica
HollyThis led to me asking the other half what he'd name a set of identical quads. Since he hates most of the names I ever suggest, I was pleasantly surprised by his answer. WDYT?Girls:
Scarlet
Isabel
Rebecca
CatherineBoys:
Frederick (a family name for both of us, so this one was kind of a given!)
Benjamin
Alexander
Daniel

Are the TV quads from the UK? They sound very typical for here.
I like your other half's boy-set, especially Frederick, but Scarlet doesn't seem to go with the other girls, it's not traditional enough.

yeah, they had southern, Essex-ish accents.

Of the TV sibs, Georgina lucked out, didn't she? ;-)Your partner, otoh, has very nice taste in names. I especially like Catherine, Alexander and Daniel.

sigh! So romantic! I'm not sure about Paul in that set, either. How about Henry or Edward?

Wow- identical quads! That's amazing. The names they picked are beautiful and go well together. I like Ellie and Georgina best, although I'd prefer Georgia or the uber-fancy Georgiana. Holly is nice and Jessica is a bit boring/dated but works well in the set. I like all your girl names except for Scarlet. I think it's the association with Scarlet Johannson. It's not as classic as Isabel, Rebecca and Catherine. The boys list is OK. I really like Benjamin. Since Frederick is a family name, you can't go wrong with it. Alexander and Daniel are nice but a little boring. I think maybe b/c I just don't like the nn Alex or Dan.

I don't like Ellie or Georgina. In particular, Ellie should be a nickname for something. I like Jessica, but it's too popular. Holly has always seemed insubstantial to me.I really like all of your other half's girls' names except for Isabel. I just can't get behind Isabel or Isabella, and don't understand Isabella's current popularity. I prefer Catherine spelled Katherine, but Catherine is still nice. I prefer Scarlet with a second T, Scarlett, but still like Scarlet. I like Rebecca so much that I may have named a second daughter Rebecca if I had had one. I was somewhat deterred by its popularity.But..I don't like Frederick and I hate Benjamin. Alexander is a great name, but way overused. Daniel is a nice enough name, but also overused.

He has good taste! If I asked my hubby what he would name them he would say 'I don't know! You're not pregnant, we're not talking about names.' and if I was pregnant he would say 'Wait until we find out if it's a boy or a girl, it's easier that way.' Irritating for someone who likes to think about names!
I love Rebecca and Catherine (Katherine moreso), Scarlet is nice, and my hubby likes Isabel too!

Haha! I always send my husband "name" emails but he doesn't respond to them :)

My husband, I will ask him random names and he will say 'yes' or 'no' to them - but the next time I ask the same name he gives a different reply! I got mad at him a few times, I guess he doesn't realize that I do care what his response is, if he says something is horrible I cross it out of my mind. So I say 'Iris' for example, he says he likes it. The time I say Iris he says it's horrible and I am all 'BUT YOU SAID!!!' lol So now he refuses to even respond because he says we don't need to talk about it now. :P
