[Opinions] How do you pronounce Eva?
I'm just curious as to how everyone pronounces the name Eva. Do you say Ee-va, Eh-va, or Ay-va? Also, if you dont mind me asking, where do you live? I say Ee-va but I've heard it multiple ways. Thanks.

Eva is 'EE-va', unless they say it's 'EH-va'. I've never met an Eva 'AY-va'.I live in Australia.

EE-va but I'd prefer AY-va in a perfect world (meaning that everyone around me would as well). I live in the Southeast US.

I prefer the ay-va pronunciation, but I think ee-va is more common - which I don't really mind.
The eh-va pronunciation I really don't like though.I live in Idaho - via California and Nevada.

I say Ee-va, indeed I had an aunt so named, and that's how she pronounced it.
I'm from east-coast Canada.

I live in America, where it's usually said EE-va, but I say AY-va because I like it better than the other pronunciations.

More or less, I say Eva "AY-va," Ava "AH-va," and Iva "EE-va" unless introduced to one who pronounces it otherwise. :-)I live in Michigan, USA.

I prefer Eva as EH-va, but it just depends on the people with the name. I've only known people named Eva who pronounced it EE-va. I live in IL.

I pronounce it EH-vah and I live in Croatia, but this is the pronunciation I use in all languages. Just for reference I pronounce Ava as Ay-vah or AH-vah, Iva as EE-vah and Eve as EEV.

I pronounce it similar to Ava (AY-va) but with a tiny bit less of an "ay" sound, and more of a "eh" sound. I live in Canada. No pun intended.

I personally like to say it Ay-va. I think it sounds more exotic and I really like the sound of it and I prefer this spelling over Ava.I live in Texas.
