[Opinions] Harper
I saw Harper the other day on a little girl. What do you think of it? I like it somewhat. Do you classify it as just another trendy last name as a first name? I like the combo Harper Emily.

I love it on a girl. I would never use it though. I don't really consider it trendy either.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

No, I don't think it's trendy. I love it, it reminds me of Harper Lee :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor'Why do people with closed minds, always open their mouths?'

I sort of like Harper ( one cannot help but connect it to Harper Lee) but I do see trend warning signs blinking.

I think it is going to be trendy as well, but I think of Harper Lee. I think lots of people would make that connection. As long as you don't name your children Harper, Atticus, Scout, and Jem, I think you'd be okay.

Yes, I see it as just another trendy last name used as a first name an on a girl! I dislike it a lot. I suppose the 'harp' conotations are a bit more feminine than they are masculine but the -er part makes it very masculine to me like Carter, Tanner, Taylor, Turner, ect.

Yes, it's definitely another trendy last-name-as-a-first-name. I don't mind the associations if the family are musicians, but generally I don't like it.
