[Games] Re: You Say, You Think (Unusual names)

This is my son, Arsene.
You say: How did you come up with that?
You think: It sounds like Arsen, s*upid parents.
This is my daughter, Ophelia. We call her Phee.
You say: That's so gorgeous!
You think: " "!!
This is my son, Harlequin. We call him Harley.
You say: . . . . . Qin would be a nice nn as well.
You think: Ridiculous, as if Harlequin wasn't enough, they call him "Harley" - the name of a motorbike. I really hate trendy names, in a few years, they're going to sound utterly ridiculous, especially when the child is grown. And yeah, Quin, MUCH better as a nn than Harley
This is my daughter, Perdita.
You say: How lovely!
You think: " "!. The parents have great taste
This is my son, Hermes.
You say: Are you French?
You think: If they're not French, it's just silly to name your kid something like Herems, silly attempt at trying to be ahead of the curve - a child is not a department store!!!!!!
These are my twin daughters, Ariadne and Persephone.
You say: They sound great together
You think: They do match style wise, but I persoanlly do not like the names. At least they're better than Harlequin etc.
These are my twin sons, Leslie and Valentine.
You say: Valentine is interesting
You think: Weird - the names don't even match. Valentine runs rings around Leslie style wise. Leslie is really dislike, but Valentine is ok.
This is my daughter, Constantina. We call her Connie.
You say: So, she just goes by Connie?
You think: Dislike the names strongly, and Connie? - to middle aged for my liking.
