Help[Opinions] Everson
A friend of mine just became an Aunt for the first time. She excitedly showed me pictures but when I asked what his name was she unenthusiastically responded, "Everson". She isn't thrilled with the name but I'm still a bit torn. What do you think of the name Everson?

I'm not big on surnames as first names in general, even if they are family names. They can seem pretentious and smarmy, but that's just my personal preference. Everson will never get teased about his name and it will fit in with the modern Evans and Everetts that occassionally pop up.
Congratulations to your friend, even if she doesn't love the name she will, of course, learn to love it as she gets to know her nephew.

I actually like it. Its modern yet I think it has a classy element. Not sure what nick names can be used though, but over all, thumbs up :D
