[Opinions] Gilberta
What do you think of this? I thought it would be cute with nickname of Gilby Grace or Gigi

In my area, sometimes the name Gilbertine is used.(French pronounciation.)
I've never heard it nick-named though.

I prefer the French Gilberte (zheel-BAIRT). This is a bit too harsh for my liking.

Dislike probably because I don't like Gilbert either. The sound puts me off.

Sorry, but I find most -berta names horribly frumpy. Gilby, however, is rather cute.

It's alright. Kind of like Roberta. I don't like "Gilby," though. It seems too artificial or precious to me. Gillie or Gigi is better IMO.

It sounds unimaginative ("Let's stick an 'A' at the end of Gilbert...ta-da!"). I really don't like it.

It's more catchy than I originally would think - I particularly like Gilby as a nickname. Generally, I don't like female names with "bert" in them, but I like the sound of this one.

It's very old fashioned and probably not a lot of people like it but I think it's pretty. Gilby is cute, I don't like Gigi that much.
