[Facts] Caitria
I'm usually OK with Irish names, but I can't get my head around Caitria at all ... Anyone know how it's pronounced?

We named our daughter Caitria, and pronounce it KAY-tree-ah.

To be honest, I've never seen this name before, ever. I find it very hard to believe it is authentically Irish-Gaelic.That said, if it was Gaelic it would roughly be pronounced [KOYTCH-ree-uh] or [KIETCH-ree-uh].If it is an Hiberno-English invention, then it would probably be [KAYT-ree-uh] or some such.
