Everything went great with Charlotte behing betrothed and the king and queen son started planning for their younger childrens bethrothing (is that even a word?). The Queen asked Princess Amelia and Crown Prince Albert if they had any in mind. The Princess had grown very fond of the young Crown Prince Elian of Perxe and suggested that we talked with the King and Queen of Perxe what they thought. Turned out that the young crown prince was very fond of our Princess too!
Crown Prince Albert didn't really have any in mind so we didn't try to find someone for him either. Even as a king and queen, we want our children to be happy and choose their own fiancee. After a couple of months we got a visit from another kingdom. They brought two young princess with them, Rosemary and Wilhelmina. Wilhelmina was too young for Albert, but Rosemary and he soon got friends and in love. We talked with the King and Queen, Rosemary's parents, and they too thought it was a good idea for Albert and Rosemary to be engaged.
Turns out we been very lucky to find someone for our three oldest children. And now when the twins and engaged, we are really planning for Princess Charlotte and Prince Alexander's wedding which will be in less than a year! We are really excited about this and so is Princess Charlotte.
