--Magda's Fiance: Noam Drystan Pelagius Aravind Arsenio
--Lucian's Fiancee: Saveria Noelia Ceridwen Solange Amandine
Prince: Cornelius Marcellus Sebastian Anatole Felix
--Fiancee: Fairuza Khadija Parisa Morvarid Maryam

In contrast to the drama surrounding the engagements of his two elder siblings, Cornelius's own betrothal was actually rather uneventful. Thelonius happened to be negotiating a trade agreement with the nearby island of Ewait when the other king mentioned that he had been looking for a husband for his only daughter, Fairuza Khadija Parisa Morvarid Maryam. The match solidified the rich deal between the two countries.
The twins were against the pairing; they didn't think it was fair to subject their little brother to an arranged marriage, especially when they were both so happy with the fiances they'd chosen for themselves. Cornelius, however, was perfectly fine with the situation. After all, his parents' marriage had been arranged, and they loved each other very much. Everything his father had told him about young Fairuza implied that she was smart and cultured and attractive, and he was sure they could be happy together. That said, he was still nervous about marrying someone he'd never met, who he probably wouldn't meet until their actual wedding day. But he had several years to get to know his intended bride and began writing to her at the university she was attending. He relaxed quite a bit after discovering that she was just as anxious, that she was witty and kind and even had his same taste in books and music.
In between loudly proclaiming their father and brother to be completely insane, Magda and Lucian were busy planning their own weddings. Magda had fallen in love with the beautiful beaches in Qelan and opted to have her nuptials there, which pleased Noam immensely. He would take over the throne someday and wanted Magda to be happy living in his family's seaside castle. Neither Isadora nor Malvina had ever been to the ocean before (or even past the Francylvanian borders), and both young princesses were very excited for the journey. Noam's teasing promise of attractive courtiers attending in abundance was also certainly a factor in the girls' anticipation, much to Damaris's mingled amusement and dread. She was of the opinion that her babies were absolutely too young to be thinking about such things. But she and the girls were very fond of Noam, who was entirely devoted to Magda yet still challenged the fiery warrior in all aspects of life. They were almost always found sparring in the castle courtyard or racing on horseback through the grounds.
Lucian and Saveria's wedding would take place at castle Carimonde, and it would be the grandest affair that the country had seen since Thelonius and Damaris's own union. Saveria was a little overwhelmed by the scale her future mother-in-law had in mind for the event but graciously went along with everything. The only condition the duchess insisted upon was that she and Lucian take an extended visit to her own land of Rajanah after they were married. Lucian, of course, readily agreed, looking forward to the adventure even though it would probably mean leaving his sister behind (Noam had been planning some secret honeymoon of his own). Lucian and Magda had never been apart for longer than a good night's sleep, and neither was wild about the idea of going their separate ways. Besides that, Vina didn't talk to Lucian for a week after finding out that her favorite brother would be "abandoning" her for six months or more. She grudgingly forgave him though, instead deciding to blame Saveria entirely for the distressing prospect.
