The whole family was thrilled (and in Vina's case, relieved) to see their last two members happily married. Not long after, Jourdain and Isadora joined an international orchestra and set off to explore the world; Vina went with Ludo to live in his kingdom Ingerd in the far south and seemed very happy there. Cornelius and Fairuza announced that they were expecting their first child. The twins and their families were both on hand in Carimonde for the birth, Damaris, Magda, and Saveria assisting Fairuza through the difficult process. Mother and child were in danger for a short while, but thankfully both pulled through. Prince Phinehas Erasmus Horatio Arran Kamil was a rather large baby, but everyone said that he looked just like his father, especially the big blue eyes. Ariadne and Demetrius were just excited for another playmate.Thelonius decided that he was getting a bit too old to deal with matters of state and passed his kingdom down to Cornelius. Cornelius was a little overwhelmed at the sudden decision but accepted graciously nonetheless. The people of Francylvania almost unanimously loved their new ruler, and Lucian especially was relieved to not be called to assume the position. He'd never enjoyed politics and was happy occasionally travelling, spending most of his time lately going back and forth between Qelan and Carimonde. He and Magda had taken over training both countries' armies, and their forces were widely feared. It would be up to Cornelius to pick his sucessor from a pool of whatever relatives were available at the time, but there was no rush. Lucian would probably be asked to take over if anything happened to Cornelius before anyone else was old enough, but that was just more incentive for the twins to make sure Cornelius's personal guard was practically indestructible.
