What are your opinions on this gem of a name? I've always professed a preference for Celestine, but I'm growing increasingly fond of the heaviness and heartiness (does that make sense?) of Celeste.

I adore Celeste. the more I hear it, the more I love it. It's just so sultry and silvery and rare. I also like that it doesn't have any obvious nicknames. It's so whole and complete, it gives it an air of confidence.

I like Celeste a lot. My husband loved it for a short time and has since cooled on the idea.

I have a hard time imagining middle names for Celeste. I just can't seem to hear what sounds right.

I really dislike Celeste. It just makes me think of the word molest.

(However, I really like Celestine and have no negative associations with it. In fact, I have a positive association -- I had a friend in grade school by the name.)

Why don't you try Maria Celeste? It's a Portuguese combination. Very sweet, I think! :)

Celeste Maria (inverted suggestion) is also an option...

I don't care for the name; all I can think of is outer space. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily but I can't shake the association.

Celeste is a hard one to find a middle name for, I think. But these 5 seemed to flow the best.
