It doesn't come off as "nerdy" to me... I just immediately think of the Reuben sandwich when I hear the name! Other than that, I like the name alot.

I adore the name Reuben! Reuben James sounds good... Reuben Michael... Reuben Alexander... Reuben Laurence... Reuben Philip... Reuben Timothy... those I mentioned sound good. :)

I don't consider Reuben to be nerdy at all :) But then it's #87 where I live, and #895 in the States, so quite popular in comparison.

I prefer the Ruben spelling though.
