[Opinions] Doran
Just discovered this name. WDYTO Doran for a boy?

It looks like Dorian w/ the i missing... and neither is particularly attractive.
Don't tell the Irish, because I usually love their names, but I'm not crazy about this one. I think I prefer Dorian / Dorien.
This one tends to make me think about "Donan" like Eilean Donan.
It's not terrible, but I'm not loving it either.

I love it. I'm totally bias: it's a family name. I say DOR-ran (though the 'a' is more a schwa, and 'dor' as in the word 'door').
I still prefer Dorian.
I probably should've read the other responses first, but I think Duran Duran. Did someone already say that?
Also, I see Dora with an 'n'. Not too masculine.

Too surname-y for me. Plus, I keep thinking it *should* be Dorian, which is distracting. Also, Duran Duran.

I really like it although I prefer Dorian. It is a very nice option though if someone didn't want to use Dorian.
I love the way it sounds (well, the way I'm saying it - like "dorrin") but the way it looks is very big and bold, like CAPSLOCK BOLD. DOH RAN. And I'm not so wild about that.
But it is handsome and interesting.
