Susanna lived in Boston and taught 9th grade. She came to New York to visit her brother. Susanna had always been , attracted to women but Helena had a boyfriend in Rio. When they met by accident in a coffee shop and fell in love, Helena broke up with her boyfriend and moved to Boston with Susanna. Now they are married and living happily in Madison, Wisconsin.
