Peter and Candace have been together for two years, give or take a few months, and after their families prompted them to get married one time too many Candace blurted out that they have decided not to marry. Now, both of their families were a bit confused but Peter explained that both he and Candace had talked it over and they saw no real reason to ever get married. They are able to continue their lives together and are both saying that it would be a waste of money to get married. Still, both sets of parents continue to insist that they should get married, regardless.
