It's nice, but I can't see it on a real child. The NN Elfy sounds comical to me.I like:Elfrida Blythe
Elfrida Bronwen
Elfrida Clare
Elfrida Jane
Elfrida Pearl
Elfrida Ruby
Elfrida Violet

I'm such a huge fan of simple and pretty Frida that Elfrida doesn't really do it for me, plus I don't think I could stand it if anyone called me Elfy! It might be fun for a while though as a toddler. What I do like about the name is how medieval and grand it sounds.
I really like:Elfrida Joan
Elfrida Lucy
Elfrida Magdalen (pretty!)
Elfrida Marian simply because they give off that medieval air.

Elfrida Wilhelmine is delightfully German. I like. Of course, that is also what makes it sound old or foreign to American ears. I suspect most people I know would share at me for several seconds for suggesting it. Then again, maybe that's just cause for a good nn. :)Elfrida Tatienne is cool too.
