[Opinions] Israa
I just found out that I have a professor named Israa. I think it looks and sounds lovely, and after looking up the meaning, I'm liking it even more. What are your thoughts? Also, which spelling do you prefer, Isra or Israa? Thanks!

I LOVE Isra! I hadn't really seen Israa before now; I think I still prefer Isra.

Israa... I'm all about the double "a"!!!
And it is a nice name isnt it! It's like a better version of Ira!

I've used Isra in a story of mine before.
I really like it.
I have a book on Turkish names that says it's pronounced eye-ess-rah so that's how I'm saying it. It think it's perfect for a soft Middle Eastern sounding name.

As someone with a lot of friends with Arabic and Farsi names, the double A ending looks perfectly natural to me but I'm sure it throws some people. I don't mind either spelling.
It is a pretty little name, very dainty I've always thought.
