Frederick and Colette met in high school. They started dating toward the end of Frederick's junior year. When Frederick went away to college they decided to see other people, but they stayed in contact. Colette ended up at the same college, and once they were both seeing each other every day again it didn't take long to restart the relationship. Shortly after, Frederick proposed, and the two got married in the summer, after Frederick received his BA.
