[Opinions] WDYTO Hudson?
I've never really given this name a second thought, until now. Recently it's really starting to grow on me. I met a girl whose children are Hudson and Hazel, which I think is cute, even though I hate matching letter sibsets. So, WDYT? And would it go good as a brother to Alexa?

as long as it's a boy nameI like it. I actually don't find it overly trendy (except if it's on a girl) but rather get a really old-fashioned, rugged feel out of it, a la The Hudson's Bay Company, founded in 1670. (I live in the same province as Hudson Bay)I imagine big beards, snowshoes, walking miles on foot, isolation, and the vast untamed wilderness. Also really awesome lithograph catalogue pictures selling corsets and newfangled whiz-bang contraptions. I think as a brother to Alexa, it does look really fairly trendy and therefore a little bit shriller rather than rich and old-fashioned. Is Alexa short for Alexandra? Alexandra and Hudson have a lovely old-new-world feel. Something like Hudson George or Husdon Albert would really heighten that effect. Something like Hudson Riley... less so.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but sorry, it just reminds me of the Hudson River, since I live relatively close to NYC. I think it's too trendy as well.

I like it a lot in a gp kind of way (Saul Hudson being my gp Hudson combo). I think it would be nice to meet a litte Hudson actually and I think it goes well with Alexa. I guess it's a bit trendy but it doesn't bother me. When it comes to surnames as first names Hudson is a pretty good one.
Hudson and Hazel are a really cute sibset.

I have a friend who named her son this. His name is Hudson Racer because her husband is a huge race fan and loves the movie Cars.

It's one of those (very few) trendy names that I actually think is pretty cute for a boy.
