I haven't run across this one before, though I've seen more than one example of girls named Whisper.
It doesn't seem like an appropriate word to turn into a given name to me. What message could the parents be trying to convey by giving such a name to their child?
I just hope his middle and last names aren't something like "Wiley Work." :)
