Help[Opinions] Catheron?
So, I was browsing through the personalized ceramic plates in an Etsy store, when I came across this one: http://www.etsy.com/listing/49705057/ceramic-hand-painted-birth-announcement. What the what? Couldn't decide between Catherine and Cameron? Is this some Indian/Hindi/Sanskrit name that I've just never heard before? Anyone heard of this name?

Hmmmm makes me think of catheter, not great. It may be a trendy spelling of Catherine - that would be my first guess upon seeing it. Too bad we'll never know!

Maybe it was a misprint, but they used it to show what the finished product looks like so it wouldn't have been a waste of time to make it.

I think it's just an old spelling of Catherine, maybe that popped up in their family tree somewhere or bent around as a surname.
