[Opinions] Prescott
I was recently reading a book that had a character by the name Prescott. I've heard it before only once (as Dil Pickle's middle name on the Rugrats xD) but I find it to be a rather strong and handsome sounding name, while not terribly popular at all. I don't think I would ever consider it as a first name, but I like it as a middle name idea. What are your thoughts? Some combos I'm liking...John Prescott
Andrew Prescott
Michael Prescott
Noah Prescott
Oliver Prescott
Benjamin Prescott
Donovan Prescott

I live in AZ and there is a city here called Prescott, so that's the first thing I think of when I here this. I prefer Preston over Prescott.

PrescottThere's a village in Michigan called Prescott. But Arizona comes to mind first. All I can think of is my school's football team win in the playoff districts against Whittemore-Prescott.

Haha, me too!Prescott, AZ has forever altered my pronunciation of the name. The city is "PRESS-kit" instead of "press-cot"...so whenever I see the name, I pronounce it like the city does. I find Prescott a tad pretentious, as is Preston, but I think both have good character to them.

I like snobbish sounding middle names. Its geeky but intriguing all at the same time. John Prescott - how handsome and noble! And presidential sounding! Noah Prescott - sweet little Noah paired with prestigious Prescott. Nice. Those are my picks for Prescott. I love Donovan, too, but I don't like the combo Donovan Prescott very much.

It sounds nice and everything, but it is very surnamey. All those combos you mentioned sounds like FN and LN. But my favorites are John Prescott, Noah Prescott, Oliver Prescott (aww!) and Benjamin Prescott.

I theory I feel like I should like Prescott, but all I can think of is ascots. I'd feel like I named my child a piece of clothing. It also has a pretentious feel, which usually I like but for some reason is just making me uneasy. I like Oliver Prescott and Benjamin Prescott the best from your list.

Had to think of James Prescott Joule immediately. Well, he's not a bad namesake but the association is pretty strong with people who like science.
From your list I like Andrew Prescott best and John Prescott least.

Er ... John Prescott? English Labour Party politician - that John Prescott? Hmm. Rather stick to one of the others.

That's who I immediately thought of too, not a great association, haha.

Never heard of him.

I think it's nice, but I don't like Scott at all, so I would never actually use it. I like Donovan Prescott the most from your list.
