I love it, but I like it pronounced ahn-uh-stah-see-uh spelled Anastasiya.

I think it's nice. My cousin's baby is named Anastasia. They introduced her as "Anastasia 'Annie'" and haven't called her 'Annie' since, haha. Everyone in the family calls her Anastasia every time (except I think her maternal grandmother). She's only 6 months old, though, so I have no idea if it'll be hard to get people to call her Anastasia and not Anna or Annie or something later on.

I like it, but I do think it is too long to be used without nicknames. I like Anya, Stasia and Tasia.

I love Anastasia! I think you can stop nicknames, but I don't know why you'd want to. One of the reasons I like it so much is all the nickname possibilities, but, to each his own.
