[Opinions] Adamah?
No, as much as I like Battlestar Galactica, I'm not naming a kid after Adm. Adama.
This word means "dirt; earth; dust; territory; ground" in Biblical Hebrew and is thought to be one of the words that the name Adam is based off. It is pronounced /ah dah MAW/.
What do you think? Can it work as a name? For a girl or a boy? I'm really intrigued by this today.

I used to have a friend named Adama. :) I wouldn't use it for a boy...the -a ending makes it too feminine.
I've never seen Battlestar Galactica, so I don't know a thing about Adm. Adama.
