[Opinions] Anaiah
I use the name Anaiah in a story of mine as the name of a little boy that died from abuse when he was nine. I've named an important organization in the story after him and lately the name is growing on me quite a bit.Thoughts? Opinions?

Wow, Anaiah was the perfect name for that character. I like it. It's my friend's boyfriend's name.

Well his birth name is something else, but Anaiah is the name he chose for himself. Long story lol.

I like the sound of it. It's a cool name. I think it works well for a character. It might be harder for an actual boy to have this name because people might think that Anaiah is a girl since the name is uncommon and looks and sounds like it could be a girl's name, but then again, it's close enough to other more familiar Biblical boys' names ending in -ah, such as Elijah and Isaiah, that it might not be that much of an issue.

I like it. I've used Annai for a boy in a story before. I've used Anaia for girl characters though, so it will take some getting used to because of that, but I still like it.

It is originally a male name though.

How nice. I've never come across this name before. Love it. Am I pronouncing it correctly, "ah-NIE-uh?" The only down side that I see is that I assumed it was a girl's name at first. I'm not saying it should be used on a girl. It's just that it could be a headache. It reminds me of a Nigerian boy's name, Annayo ("ah-NIE-o"). I met an Annayo once. What do you think of that one?
