Adventure 3 this time...
Life has been extremely hectic for the Alban family for the last few years. Sunny finished her degree and took a job teaching English at a local high school. Within two years she also took over the school newspaper and became co-sponser of the drama club. Jamie was continueing his career as a social worker--a job that is inherantly hectic. Juggling these jobs with the demands of raising a toddler made them both agree that, for the time being at least, their faimily was complete. They were perfectly happy with Evie, who was as sweet and loving and outgoing as a parent could wish.
Five years passed, however, and things were getting easier and easier. Evie was in school and loving it, and Sunny and Jamie had both been at their jobs long whough that they had their juggling routines down pat. Both also got raises. With things settling down, they talked and decided that the time was right for another baby. Only a few weeks after Sunny went off birth control she got pregnant, and nine months later she gave birth to twin boys! They had been astounded and a little worried when they found out they were having twins--Evie had ben hard enough by herself--but Evie herself was overjoyed. She couldn't stop talking about getting two little brothers. She even helped name them in a way; she recently become obsessed with cats, and during the summer while Sunny was off and hanging out with Evie, she found two names she loved in some of the cat movies Evie wanted to watch. Milo and Thomas were both (to Jamie and Sunny's amusement and Evie's delight) were both named after movie cats (ironically both orange tabbies). Owen and Samuel they simply chose because they like them and thought they flowed well. Milo is the smaller twin, but is more demanding and outgoing. Thomas is slightly larger and also more laid back. He will often lay awake and quietly observe the world. Evie is fascinated by the twins and constantly wants to help with them. She even tries to comfort them when they cry. Sunny and Jamie are both heartwarmed when they see how much their children really love one another. Theri lives are hectic again, but they wouldn't trade a second of it!
