[Opinions] Nanette
I have started liking Nanette lately. What is your honest opinion of the name?

Very sweet. I feel like it would be really charming on an actual person, perhaps moreso than in theory for most people.

love!I don't know if I would use it, but I do love it!

I like it too. It's got a crisp clean sound, and association with Nanette Newman (the only Nanette I can think of) gives it an attractive and intelligent feeling, too.

Too much N sounds negative to me. I get a snide feeling from Nanette, like taunting, "nyah-nyah." It's not bad, I just don't like the sound of it, seems weak because it's overwrought (why not just Annie?).

Why not just Annie? Because they are completely different to me (even though they are both derived from Ann).

I think of a nanny goat.Sorry.

Much prefer Annette, the 'nan' part doesn't agree with me.

Nanette Himmelfarb, the Rabbi's daughter, at the Scarsdale Jewish Community Center.Haha, I guess the name is alright, but I will always be reminded of that line ^

It seems childish.

honestly...I like it. A lot. It is cute and tidy and adorably stern in a way. It makes me think of a starched white collar with scalloped edges. Supercute yet also very respectable.
