Pretty sound, but it's a letter away from Korea.

In fact, I've seen some older sources spell Korea that way.

No, sorry. I do like Cora, though. But Corea reminds me of either Korea or chorea, a neuorological disease (http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/chorea/chorea.htm#What_is). Both are pronounced the same, btw, so I assume Corea is pronounced that way as well.
