[Opinions] Miller on a girl?
Found out this morning that someone I went to h.s. w/ has a daughter named Miller. (I'd initially guess from the fb post this was a boy since no pronoun was used, but I was wrong)I wouldn't even use it on a boy- let alone a girl. (It's fine as a surname though)wdyt?

I know a girl called Milla which seems more feminine as it reminds me of Camilla. It's still not my style but is better than Miller which seems very masculine, and I don't even like it on a boy.Sophie

I'm not keen on it for either sex, but it's worse on a girl, far worse!

Totally agree!Somewhat OT: once I taught a beautiful but alas! not bright little girl who must have been 13. Her name was Melody Miller. I told the class that their names had meanings - they'd never thought about it and were really excited. I got lots of requests for info! (There was a black-haired Melanie, for one, which was nice.) And little Melody Miller, who was a competent pianist, was positively jumping up and down in her eagerness to be told the meaning of her name ...
