I've got a step-niece called Savannah; not sure if she's got a mn or not, but if she has, it'll be Sarah. I find it trite, but her dad's a rather distinguished game ranger and he finds it beautiful and meaningful.

While it sounds very pretty I like it more for a storybook character or guilty pleasure than an actual person. It sounds too much like it might really be the name of a flower that blooms in the desert. :o)

Savannah Lily is a *great* combo. Go for it!
