Love it. I love the odd look of it most. But the pronunciation is almost as much fun. It almost looks Chinese. Finding out that it is Basque comes as a surprise and again adds another layer of fun.

Given that it is a variant of Eugenia, I can see the stress falling on the "ee" sound in the middle. The site's pronunciation makes sense to me.
