Thanks for the feedback. I prefer ann-juh-LEE-uh too. Its my third favorite girls name after 1) Marina and 2) Katherine.

I had forgotten about this name. It's very pretty. I prefer ann-juh-LEE-uh.

I pronounce it the first way you have listed. BTW, I knew girl named Angelia once. She used to get mad because people didn't pronounce her name the same as Angela! Duh, her parents didn't name her Angela. It was only natural to assume her name was pronounced differently. I remember shaking my head. ;-)

I like both pronunciations. I think ann-juh-LEE-uh is a little easier to say. I knew a person with this name but nobody could pronounce it so she always went by angel.
