I don't think anyone would connect Joely, Jolly, Jola, etc. with Jolie. I guess unless they heard you yell out Joely, they might think you said Jolie. Except the emphasis is on opposite syllables.Anyway, I've always kind of thought Joely was pretty upbeat and fun. The problem with Joely though is I think it's connected to actress Joely Richardson. But she's not as well known as Angelina Jolie.Jola is kind of neat. I wouldn't use Jolly, though. It just brings up images of fat guys laughing. What about Joy? I really like that.
