[Opinions] Otto.
I'm not sure why but I'm really, really digging this name. I'm suspecting it's not going to be very popular. (My last name-crush like this was Milton - not a single soul seemed to like it.)

Seriously cool name. I'd be stoked to meet a little one in real life.
We called one of our kittens Octavian, and while his main nns were Tavie & Tavian, we did also sometimes call him Otto. So theres that possibility.
Now I want to pair it with middle names. Hmmm...
Otto Jasper
Otto Matthias
Otto Nathaniel
Otto Kieran
Otto Felix (ooooh. like that one)
Otto Solomon
Otto Schuylar
Otto Tobias
Otto George
Otto Morgan
Otto Moses
Otto Henry
Otto Josiah
Otto Klaus

I'm not sure whether or not I like Otto. On the one hand, it seems quirky cool. On the other, I'm not really liking the sound...
It also reminds me of ottomans.

I really love Otto but all my friends think I'm crazy :(
It's still dated here but I'm secretly awaiting a comeback in like 15 years ;)

I like it okay. I also like Odo... But I had a cat named Otto once (named by a friend who couldn't keep him). And it seemed like such a good cat name. I agree with Eilis that it is very "stout." Probably a little too stout for me to use. It's not actually comical, though. It's decent. I wouldn't really blink if I met a kid named Otto.
As someone who is a DS9 fan
using fan as short for fanatic: I daren't use Odo.

I have no expectations of it becoming popular. It's a nice change from some of the overdone names, though it's neither a love nor hate for me.
I think it's pretty cute. The weird thing is that I can totally picture a baby or a child named Otto and a really old man but not a man in between. I think Otto is much better than Milton (which makes me think of horses) and I wouldn't mind seeing it around more.
Ha! I just checked it's popularity and it turns out that Otto was in the top 100 in Sweden last year (#86) and Milton was #76.

I'm not really liking it that much. I keep on picturing a cicrus seal.
I like it. It's so stout, hehe.
One of my favorite combos outside of my top ten is Emil Otto.

Awesome.
I love Emil but alas, my husband does not.
I'm beginning to wonder if my brother was right and I'd be happier in a le.sbian marriage. Women seem to have much better taste in names.

Name taste
I don't want offspring so hopefully for me it's going to be a non-issue. Still, I can just imagine it.
My brother's fairly serious girlfriend was talking about names once and it came up that she likes Owen, for a girl. That was my first real test in being polite and interested whether I liked it or not. :-P

LOL
I've had that test many times. :-D Nod, smile & keep talking.

I *love* Otto! I love palindromes, and Otto has such a strong presence. I give it a 9.5.
