I came across someone called Erlend today. I had never heard of this name before. They are from Norway. WDYT?

Interesting! This is one letter away from the German word for 'misery' (Elend) which is why I'd probably need some time to get used to seeing this on a child. Other than that I think it's ok. Do you happen to know if this is a popular name in Norway?
